The town’s facilities include supermarkets, convenience stores, banks and a post office as well as leisure facilities including swimming pool and several gyms, and healthcare facilities.
Multiple nursery and pre-schools, three primary schools and two secondary schools are located in the town. Coalville and Burton on Trent are 10 miles away with Derby 12 miles away. There are mainline train stations at Burton and Derby connecting to multiple cities in the UK.
