The site is located next to a conservation area and Sidney Gardens, a mature three acre triangle of open space, presented to the town in commemoration of Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee.

Also, within walking distance are the Yeovil District Hospital and Women’s Hospital, fire station, police station and ambulance station.
