Can I park a van on my driveway/in the communal car park?
Generally, a small/medium sized van used for work is allowed on your driveway/in the communal car park, as long as it does not cause an obstruction to neighbours’ parking spaces or driveways.
Large lorries or trucks are not allowed.
Sometimes there are estate covenants that do not allow for ‘branded’ vans (with signage) to be parked on schemes. We will let you know if this is an issue.
Can I park a caravan on my driveway/in the communal car park?
You can park a caravan on your driveway for a short period at the start and/or end of the summer season to load, unload and clean.
If you want to park a caravan on your driveway permanently or for long periods, please contact us in writing to request permission by emailing us.
We will then check your tenancy agreement and any scheme or land covenant which may cover the area, to see whether having a caravan on your drive is allowed.
Once we have checked, we will confirm in writing to you if we can grant permission.
Please note that any scheme or land covenant that covers your area will always overrule your tenancy agreement.
Can I park a boat on my driveway/in the communal car park?
Boats cannot be stored on your driveway or in a communal car park.
You can park them for a short period at the start and/or end of the summer season to load, unload and clean, but permanent storage is not allowed.
Can I charge an electric vehicle on my driveway?
Please see our Electric Vehicle Charging Policy for information on installing chargers on private driveways.
