Raglan Court is a newly-refurbished retirement living scheme consisting of 27 self-contained one-bedroom apartments, each with their own entrance via an internal corridor for added security. The ground floor apartments are for those with limited mobility, while residents on the first and second floors have access to a lift.

- A guest suite for visitors wishing to stay (available for a small fee)
- Large communal gardens with outdoor seating and picnic areas

Supporting you
We support residents in all of our retirement living schemes to continue living independently. This support includes:
- A community alarm service for out of hours support (managed 24/7)
- Housing-related support to help you remain independent at home - our local team can signpost you to other agencies and support systems to help maintain your independence
- Effective housing management and tenancy sustainment services – our team can mediate between Stonewater if you have any problems (e.g. with your rent or with neighbours)
- Low-level support services to improve your health and wellbeing
- Health and safety building checks

Local area
Raglan Court is situated in a quiet area of Whitley, on the outskirts of Reading. The scheme is close to local amenities, with a parade of shops within a 15-minute walk.
Local transport is excellent, with a bus service every eight minutes from the bottom of Blagdon Road to Reading town centre - a 1.5-mile journey. There is also the ‘Readibus’ service, which collects elderly and disabled residents who pre-book.
The train station is two miles away and the Royal Berkshire Hospital is only 1.5 miles away.
