Facilities at Waltham Court

Waltham Court is a retirement living scheme consisting of 20 spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments with ground floor and first floor with gallery landings. Flats benefit from their own entrance accessed off an internal corridor for added security.

Additional benefits at Waltham Court include:

  • Community room where we host regular social events like coffee mornings and afternoon tea
  • External scooter storage with charging point
  • A communal boiler – this means residents don’t have the worry of arranging their own gas provider. Instead there is a weekly charge for heating and hot water (on top of rent)
  • Lifts – the entire scheme is completely wheelchair accessible
  • Large communal gardens with outdoor seating areas
  • Parking for residents and visitors (limited availability)

We support residents in all of our retirement living schemes to continue living independently. This support includes:

  • A community alarm service for out of hours support (managed 24/7)
  • Housing-related support to help you remain independent at home - our local team can signpost you to other agencies and support systems to help maintain your independence
  • Effective housing management and tenancy sustainment services – our team can mediate between Stonewater if you have any problems (e.g. with your rent or with neighbours)
  • Low-level support services to improve your health and wellbeing
  • Health and safety building checks

Local area

The scheme is ideally situated about a mile away from Goring town centre, which boasts a good variety of shops as well as an indoor and outdoor market. Shops include a supermarket, post office, newsagents, pharmacy and café.
