We make sure that our agency managed housing is suitable for everyone, including:
- people with learning or physical disabilities
- young people
- refugees and their families
- people with mental health needs
- and people at risk of domestic abuse.

Partnership services for people with mental health needs
Angel Yard, Wiltshire
The accommodation
This scheme provides accommodation for people with low-level mental health needs. Residents are expected to stay no longer than two years, during which time they progress towards greater independence. The accommodation consists of three one-bedroom self-contained flats within a purpose-built block.
The project is managed by Together and funding for the project comes from a Supporting People Grant and the local authority's community care budget. Stonewater provides housing management and a full repairs service.
How to access the service
Applications can be made by care managers to Homes@Kennet.
Homes@Kennet, Together and Stonewater will then meet suitable applicants and jointly make a decision, before notifying applicants.

Partnership services for people with learning disabilities
Bartrum Close, Kempston
The accommodation
Bartrum Close provides accommodation for five people with learning disabilities.
The service is operated by Leonard Cheshire who are registered with the Quality Care Commission as a domiciliary care provider. Stonewater provides housing management and full repairs services.
This service accommodates five people with learning disabilities within a combination of one- and two-bedroom bungalows. Bedfordshire's A&R Team provides outreach support to one of the bungalows.
Leonard Cheshire provides 24-hour care with sleep in support to the other three bungalows. Leonard Cheshire is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care provider. Stonewater provides housing management and a full repairs service.
The scheme is funded via the Supporting People Grant and the local authority Domiciliary Care Budget.

Chaldon Road, Poole
The accommodation
Chaldon Road is located in Poole and caters for people with learning disabilities, the service provides 24-hour support.
Mencap manages the project and is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care provider. Mencap provides general and housing related support whilst Stonewater provides housing management and a repairs service to the project.
Chaldon Road offers eight rooms. Each resident has their own room but share communal facilities such as the lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, conservatory and garden.
There are always two or three members of staff based at the project throughout the day reducing to one sleep-in person overnight. Staff are there to ensure that support is offered to each individual but there is also the opportunity of independence.
Chaldon Road is funded through the Supporting People grant and the local authority community care budget. Some tenants may also receive direct payments to assist with living.
How to access the service
Referrals are made by Mencap via Helpline@mencap.org.uk, who will send out the application form.
Mencap and Stonewater representatives will then meet to consider the applications, and Stonewater will make the final decision.
Managing Transitions, Bedford
The accommodation
Managing Transitions provides accommodation for 17 people with learning disabilities, in a mixture of one- and two-bedroom flats.
Operated by Bedford Borough Council, the service is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care provider. Stonewater provides housing management and full repairs services.
Funding is through a combination of the Supporting People Grant and also from the local authority domiciliary care budget.

The accommodation
Meadow View is a house for six people with learning disabilities, providing 24-hour support. The service is operated by Choice Care who are registered with the Quality Care Commission as a domiciliary care provider. Stonewater provide a housing management service.
Tenants have their own rooms and share communal facilities such as the lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, gardens, and conservatory.
The accommodation is funded via the local authority community care budget.

The accommodation
Spiders Island is a registered care home. It provides accommodation for five people with learning and physical difficulties.
SCOPE manages the project and provides 24-hour support including waking nights. Stonewater provide a housing management and partial repairs service.
The accommodation is funded by Social Services and SCOPE and is registered with the Care Quality Commission and the Primary Care Trust.

The accommodation
St Edmunds provides accommodation for nine people with learning disabilities, with a 24-hour support service.

The project is funded by the Supporting People Grant and also the local authority’s Community Care Budget.

Stonepit Close, Godalming
The accommodation
Stonepit Close is a scheme that provides specialist care and support for people with autism and/or Asperger’s.
Staff within the scheme offer day-to-day care to residents, while helping them maintaining their independence.
Stonepit Close is managed by the National Autistic Society. It is a registered care home and is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Stonewater provides a housing management service and has some repair responsibilities.
The project is funded by a combination of local authority health and community care budgets.
How to access the service
Applications for people a diagnosis of autism or Asperger’s can be made by a care manager - although private referrals will be accepted with guarantee of funding.
Assessments are then carried out by scheme staff. The National Autistic Society will inform applicants of the decision.
