Our Chief Executive shares a message ahead of the celebrations for the King's Coronation.
Like many of you, I’ll be tuning in on Saturday to watch the Coronation of King Charles III, who will be crowned along with Camilla, the Queen Consort. It’s the highlight of a weekend of celebrations, including Coronation Big Lunches, drone displays and a concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday.
The Coronation is steeped in tradition, and communities across the country will be involved in celebrations. For many, this will include street parties, a long-standing tradition in the UK. If you’re still thinking of planning something, there are plenty of resources on the Government’s coronation webpages – including a map of events taking place.
