Stonewater received the positive news following an assessment conducted by the regulator as part of its regular programme of oversight.
The regulator assesses registered housing providers against a range of criteria including strategy, financial resilience and risk management. It then uses this information to determine its key economic regulation ratings for governance and financial viability. Stonewater has achieved top G1 and V1 gradings since it was formed, in 2015.
Nicholas Harris, Chief Executive at Stonewater, said: “This is a good result, particularly during these exceptionally challenging times, and testament to the professionalism of our teams working to the highest standards.
We are committed to serving our customers and communities to the very best of ability and our strong regulatory assurance will help us do that, especially when so many are being affected by the cost-of-living crisis and financial uncertainty.”
