ollaborate – Resident Engagement in Building Safety, run by Tpas, is a programme that aims to provide organisations with the knowledge and skills to develop and implement a comprehensive, action-based plan to deliver high quality engagement with residents in anticipation of the new industry regulation standards being implemented in 2024. The programme will feature input from several prominent individuals from across the sector, including the Building Safety Regulator, and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Stonewater will attend workshops alongside other notable housing providers, to further analyse and develop strategies to overcome the challenges faced when implementing effective engagement with residents regarding building safety.
Sarah Stevenson-Jones, Director of Building Safety and Compliance at Stonewater, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for Stonewater to work collaboratively with Tpas and other industry professionals to enable us to improve how we engage with our residents and improve our engagement strategies and knowledge.
“It’s been really insightful to start looking at how we can work collaboratively as housing providers to develop best practice guidelines on how we should be engaging with customers.
“Part of the programme has already covered bridging the gap between us and our customers as well as how we can use data and statistical insight to tailor our approach to our residents. This research will be crucial in helping us build a streamlined resident engagement strategy ready for April 2024”.
