Stonewater's Treasury Team is Housing Heroes' Team of the Year.
Stonewater, has been awarded with the Team of the Year accolade at the Inside Housing Housing Heroes awards 2023.
Stonewater’s Treasury team was presented with the award at the ceremony on June 26, which marks the start of the annual housing conference in Manchester.
The team, consisting of Isabelle Kirk, Elaine Lewis, Emily Murray, Lauren Fradgley, and Anastasia Krassi, have been instrumental in supporting the restructure of the Stonewater Group over the past year.
The award recognises the pivotal role they played in negotiating and extending Stonewater's revolving credit facilities and their integral involvement in the process of bringing Greenoak Housing Association into the Stonewater Group in December 2022.
The team also successfully negotiated funding with banks that will enable Stonewater to retrofit around two-thirds of its homes, bringing them up to net zero carbon standards.

The Housing Heroes Awards ceremony took place alongside the Women in Housing Awards at Housing 2023 in Manchester. The awards celebrate leaders and innovators across the housing sector.
